Appreciating Federal Hill Architecture

As I develop this blog I intend to add content about Federal Hill’s beautiful architecture. For today however, I am going to cheat and give you a link to someone else’s work. This link will bring you to a marketing company that helps agents sell historic homes. It is a bit dated, but it is still interesting. You should definately check out the link to interior pictures of Beleden at the bottom.

Congratulations Bristol

The city of Bristol was recently honored by Money Magazine by being ranked number 84 of its top 100 small cities in America. To see the whole article click here.

What exactly are the boundaries of Federal Hill?

What exactly are the boundaries of Federal Hill? This is something that I have often wondered about. Is it bounded by streets, landmarks or geographic features? Is Hurley Hill part of Federal Hill? What about Page Park? What about the old firehouse on Route 6? It has a higher elevation than Prospect Street which is definately part of the Hill. Perhaps someone in the past has definitively described it. If so I would love to know about it! I have my opinion but I would like to hear what you think. Please let your opinion be known.
